The Romanian Car Registry sends all drivers a very important request, which can help in carrying out the activity of the institution: the vehicle must be washed and cleaned!
The Romanian Auto Registry (RAR) sent a request to all drivers through a post on Facebook.
The institution urges those who come with their vehicle for inspection to first take it to be washed and cleaned.

The Auto Registry conveys to drivers that it is constantly making efforts to make verification operations more efficient.
„We ask you to support us in this endeavor and remind you that the vehicle you bring to a RAR dealership must be washed and cleaned, and must not have dangerous substances or bulky objects stored inside that make access difficult. We believe that this attitude is a form of respect for our colleagues who take the car for checks, but it is not the only argument,” the RAR post reads.
The representatives of the Auto Registry indicate that certain checks are necessary to check the technical condition of the vehicle. And a high degree of dirt can lead to reduced visibility of some bodywork elements. Either because they are excessively corroded or covered in dirt.
And if various goods are stored in the vehicle, they can prevent access for inspection.
„Thus, our colleagues will waste time cleaning the respective elements they are going to inspect or, as a last resort, they may ask you to go wash the vehicle and come back to continue the procedures“, it is also stated in the RAR post.
How long does the verification at RAR take?
RAR reminds drivers that the time written on the appointment ticket represents the time at which access to the RAR yard is allowed, not the time at which the requested procedure will be carried out.
„The time until an engineer takes over the vehicle can be longer than we want, but there are frequent situations where we need to check some aspects of a car in more detail: serials difficult to identify due to corrosion, vehicles identified in various databases to which our institution has access, etc. All of these can slow down the operational flow“, explains the Car Registry.
Thus, in order for the check to be done faster, it is recommended that the car be clean. And all objects and goods in the vehicle, which could hinder the access of the inspectors, to be removed.
