Among the recurring themes of the last 10 years of TV, the return of Paolo Bonolis to Rai can definitely claim a place on the podium. His presence at Such and Such Show as guest of the final of the program hosted by Carlo Conti he inevitably reawakened this never dormant feeling of which a significant part of the Italian television audience is a healthy bearer.
For years there has been talk about how much Paolo Bonolis is held back by his stay at Mediaset, where he guarantees the company ratings and popularity, without being able to free himself from historical titles such as Hello Darwin and next one in which he is essentially imprisoned. Not that these two programs are far from his nature, in fact they reflect it perfectly, they just don’t seem enough. Let’s be clear, this is the land of Bonolis, It is in the land of Mediaset that the Roman presenter was able to cultivate his best ideasprograms in which his hosting style has found the alphabet to best express itself.
However, it is undeniable that the consecration took place elsewhere, which Thanks to Rai, Bonolis was able to establish himself as one of the main interpreters of Italian television of the last twenty years. The return to Mediaset after the two Sanremo Festivals with which he kept alive an event that was in great difficulty at the time was physiological at the time, but over the years it has transformed into a sort of cage, from which today he could free himself to go back to thinking about television in a proactive way.

Presence at Tale e Quale Show, simply as a judge, acquires great significance precisely because it has the appearance of a preview of a return invoked several times in recent years and now, perhaps, realizable. A return that would give Bonolis, a professional who has repeatedly spoken of his intention to retire before perceiving himself as old, the possibility of a final round of waltz to then close his career.
