If you own a Pixel Watch o Pixel Watch 2get ready to finally say goodbye to Wear OS 4. The launch of Wear OS 5 is indeed imminent for these smartwatches. Google has announced that it will release the software update November for all three generations of Pixel Watch. The new update presents the software version AW2A.241105.012 and fixes security issues and bugs for the Pixel Watch 3. More importantly, however, it implements Wear OS 5 su Pixel Watch 1 e 2.
The rollout of Wear OS 5 on PW1 and PW2 started in September. However, the process was stopped after users started experiencing it problems after updatesuch as smartwatches that stopped responding or displayed a useless black screen.
In addition to Wear OS 5, PW1 and PW2 owners can expect new features, bug fixes and performance improvements in this update. In fact, Google has also made available Play Store updates for improved camera controls and Pixel Recorder.

- When you access the watch face by pressing the Crown (All), a white Splash appears.
- Bluetooth was not working due to loss of connection (PW2 and PW3).
- Old completed calls were still showing as active (PW2 and PW3).
- Watch face would not load on reboot (PW2).
Google adds that it plans to release the next update for your smartwatches a March 2025.
