The Rolls-Royce Ghost facelift officially debuts with a refreshed design and new technologies

Rolls-Royce has released the first official information and photos about the updated Ghost. Along with this, the luxury limousine gets a new look and a number of new technologies.

Rolls-Royce has officially unveiled the Ghost Series II, an update to the entry-level luxury model of its range. With this facelift, the Ghost received a new face with sharper LED headlights that contribute to a slightly more aggressive look. Compared to the design that the second generation Ghost had at its debut, the facelift chisels a few aspects, but does not represent a radical change.

Other exterior changes include the front bumper with a redesigned lower intake, new wheel designs, and the taillights now benefit from a design inspired by the Specter electric coupe.

The interior received a treatment similar to that applied to the Cullinan facelift

Like the Cullinan, which was updated earlier this year, the Ghost’s cabin has been upgraded with a full-width glass panel containing three separate digital displays.

The main screen runs Rolls-Royce’s operating system and is connected to a 1,400-watt sound system with 18 speakers, some of which are hidden in the ceiling. New materials and finishes are available, such as an embroidered bamboo fabric containing 2.2 million stitches and 18 kilometers of thread.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost does not give up the V12 engine

The Ghost facelift will continue to use the same 6.75-liter V12 engine, which develops 571 hp and 850 Nm of maximum torque. The power values have not changed in any way, and the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, with the maximum speed being electronically limited to 250 km/h.

Even though the engine has remained the same, the manufacturer says that the car’s air-cushion suspension provides increased ride comfort, better than in the past.
