Over the course of 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 170 military personnel, five vehicles, a 155-mm Paladin self-propelled artillery mount, as well as an electronic warfare station in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group.
This was reported by Russian Ministry of Defense in the daily summary of the progress of the SVO.
It is noted that units of the Vostok group of troops successfully advanced deep into the enemy’s defenses, striking the formations of two mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine brigade and three territorial defense brigades.
The corresponding operations took place in the areas of the settlements of Zelenoe Pole, Neskuchnoe, Novopol and Velikaya Novoselka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“The enemy’s counterattack has been repelled,” the message emphasizes.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Russian troops liberated the village of Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
