The Russian foreign ministry said what it thinks about Trump’s victory

Our conditions are unchanged and well known in Washington

was the resolution.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moscow said that

they have no illusions about the US president-elect, who is well known in Russia, and the new congress,

where the Republicans gain the upper hand. According to the ministry, the ruling political elite of the United States, regardless of party affiliation, adheres to its basic anti-Russian stance and the policy of containing Moscow. This does not depend on the fluctuation of the American domestic political barometer, be it Republicans or Democrats.

In the statement, they voiced their position, according to which the victory of Trump, who returned to the White House after a four-year hiatus, reflects the dissatisfaction of all Americans Joe Biden against the results of his administration, as well as against the election program of the Democratic Party, which he nominated as a candidate to replace the incumbent head of state Kamala Harris vice president announced.

They pointed out that, despite the powerful propaganda campaign of the Democrats with the support of the liberal media and administrative resources, Trump, relying on the experience of his first presidency, placed the bet against the globalist course of the White House on economic and illegal migration issues, which really concern the voters. In such circumstances, it did not help the ruling group to prevent the defeat of Harris, that, according to the statement, American democracy suffers from chronic deficiencies, is archaic and contradicts the modern standards of direct, fair and transparent elections.

However, according to the department, this does not eliminate the deep division of the citizens of the United States, the opposition between the Democratic and Republican states and the supporters of “progressive” and traditional values.

It is expected that the return of Donald Trump will inflame internal tensions and the ruthlessness of the opposing camps

said the announcement.
