Russian e-sportsman Danil Kryshkovets, better known under the pseudonym donk, earned the title of the best Counter-Strike 2 player of 2024 according to the authoritative portal HLTV.

Kryshkovets topped the final list of HLTV’s 20 best players in his first year of playing at the highest level – the young member of the Serbian team with Russian roots, Team Spirit, is only 17 years old.
In the top 2 of the ranking, Kryshkovets was joined by another Russian – G2 team member Ilya Osipov (aka m0NESY), and third place went to the Frenchman Mathieu Herbaut from Team Vitality, also known as ZywOo.

The “Russian Phenomenon,” as he was nicknamed by HLTV, outperformed other competitors in statistical indicators, including overall rating, team rating, kills per round, damage per round, and others.
“I don’t care,” says donk in an interview with HLTV about his place in the ranking. — It’s nice, of course, but this is not my main goal. I want to win as a team so that our team can be the best.”

At the last HLTV Awards 2024, Kryshkovets won in four categories: in addition to “Best Player,” donk excelled in the categories “Best Newcomer,” “Best Opening Player,” and “Moment of the Year.”
