On Sunday, the historic sailing ship Runbjarn, which has spent the last three years traveling in Europe, will return to Estonia. After a years-long break, those interested will once again have the opportunity to sail a sailboat in domestic waters.

At three o’clock in the afternoon on September 1st, Runbjarn, or Ruhnu Karu, will arrive at Noblessner harbor with the accompanying fleet. On June 12, 2022, according to the original plan, the sailing ship of coastal Swedes, built in Estonia, took off in the direction of Gammalsvenskby, a village inhabited by Hiero Swedes in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine did not allow it to reach its destination yet, but in the course of three years the ship has visited numerous European ports and this spring took a course for the homeland.
