Before we even see the new Galaxy S25 Slim we’re very intrigued because there are various speculations about how slim and sleek this new smartphone might actually be.
Today, a Galaxy S25 Slim prototype was spotted in its online results database Geekbench and specifically, it’s the model headed to North America – the SM-S937U.
Although it will be the slimmest member of the new S25 series, it will also be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 15 with One UI 7. As you can see in the screenshot above, it managed a single-core score of 3,005 and a multi-core score of 6,945.
We’re disappointed by this low multi-core score for this chipset that generally tops out at 9,000s, but we’d usually caution you not to take scores from prototype devices too seriously. In this case we can only wonder if the thinness of the S25 Slim can negatively affect the heat dissipation capacity to such a large extent.
Whether or not this theoretical trade-off is worth it remains to be seen – however, the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to be less than 7 mm in thickness and this will undoubtedly give it an extremely impressive appearance.
