The Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner will be the opponent of the American Taylor Fritz in the final of the Champions tournament in Turin on Sunday.
In the second semi-final, the leader of the world ranking and the highest ranked player defeated the sixth seed “spider” Casper Ruud from Norway smoothly 6:1, 6:2. After a year, Sinner will play again for the title at the final event of the season.
Sinner dominated the court from the start, immediately took the opponent’s serve and quickly led 3:0. In the sixth game, he succeeded again on the return and in the seventh game he used the first set point on his own serve.
The second half brought a balanced course only to the state of 2:2. The Italian then twice broke Ruud, who did not give him a chance to dramatize the match.
He ended the duel with a clean game on his own serve. Thus, Sinner also managed the third mutual duel with Norway and did not lose a set again.
