16 months have passed since the release of the first compilation called “Novi Sad UnderGRAND Scene Vol. 1” and in which 21 current and active bands from Novi Sad participated. Now it’s time for a new edition, the second part of the project, which they realized together UnderGRAND Label, UnderGRAND radio i Association of Citizens “Andergrand”made up of almost the same people who realized the previous edition, enthusiasts, lovers of music, especially that which many people do not even know about, because it is not in mainstream to the media, because there is no money for it in the state coffers.
The publisher’s project unites almost the entire Novi Sad scene in one place, which offers a wide variety of musical genres. That’s why our second compilation is called “Diversity”, it, like Novi Sad, is culturally and multi-ethnically diverse. This time there were 17 groups on the compilation, of various styles, genres, energy, approach to music and various performing ideas and affinities. In addition to being quite different, they have in common that they actively create their music in Novi Sad.
A little more than 70 minutes of music, it reveals all the richness and diversity of Novi Sad’s alternative scene. The compilation is available digitally via Bandcamp pagesand a CD edition is being prepared and is already available for pre-order (700 din/6 eur), which will be available at the beginning of February next year.
