The certificate of inclusion on the Board of Honor was presented to the general director of the enterprise, Alexey Belyaev, on November 2 at the House of Friendship of Peoples in Izhevsk during the State reception dedicated to the Day of National Unity and the Day of Statehood of Udmurtia.
Sarapul Electric Generator Plant is a landmark enterprise for the Russian economy. Today, units produced by SEGZ operate in the sky, on the ground, under water and even in space.

Fulfilling the state defense order is the main, but not the only task facing the plant team. The company is successfully working to solve the problems of import substitution, including for the production of civilian products. This became possible thanks to modernization and technical renewal, and advanced training of personnel.
Over the past 10 years, shareholders of the Sarapul Electric Generating Plant have allocated most of the profits to the development of the enterprise. Today SEGZ successfully produces elevator winches, electric motors for trams, explosion-proof electric motors and other products in demand in Russia and allied states.
