Shattered Space was released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S outside the Russian region. The expansion costs $30, but is included in the Premium and Collector’s Editions of the game. The premiere was accompanied by a new trailer.

Shattered Space sends players to the city of Dazra on the planet Va’ruun’kai to uncover the secrets of the House of Va’ruun – a religious cult that worships the Great Serpent – and confront a mysterious cosmic threat.

They promise a solid plot with elements of cosmic horror, more than 50 man-made locations, encounters with new dangerous enemies, including the horrors of gravitational vortices, and the opportunity to determine the future fate of the House of Va’ruun.

As for the patch, after undergoing a two-week beta test on Steam, update 1.14.70 is now available on all Starfield target platforms and includes performance improvements, bug fixes and new features.

In particular, the developers returned to the game the flip merge bug that was removed by the August patch (now as a feature), which allowed incompatible parts to be combined in the ship editor by rotating one of them up and down.

Starfield was released in September 2023, including on Game Pass, and since then more than 14 million people have joined the game. Bethesda intends to release expansions for the project on an annual basis.
