Police officers reported on the X social network that they are looking for a 54-year-old man who fell into a flooded stream while cleaning debris near the house and did not emerge from the water. According to them, the man disappeared below the surface after 5:00 p.m. “A witness saw the incident but was unable to help the man because of the strong and fast current,” the spokeswoman said before 6:30 p.m. According to her, the police are still searching for the man along the stream, he informed idnes.cz.

Shortly before 6:00 p.m., the police announced on social media that they were dealing with a car falling into the raging Staríč River in the village of Lipová-lázne in Jesenice. “One person managed to get ashore, the other three people were supposed to stay inside.
