After the resounding success of the Alpha A1, Sony is preparing to launch the second generation of its flagship camera for professional photographers.
The Japanese brand has confirmed the presentation event for November 19, while also releasing information about what we can expect from this new model.
A long-awaited successor
Released in January 2021, the predecessor model Alpha A1 revolutionized the market with the unique combination of high photo resolution (50 megapixels) and ultra-fast shooting speed (up to 30 frames per second).
This unprecedented performance has made the A1 a must-have choice for professional photographers in fields ranging from landscapes to speed sports.
Performance details
Although the full technical information of the A1 II is yet to be revealed, the new model is expected to raise the bar.
Possible upgrades may include improved sensors, expanded 8K video capabilities, and advances in AI for autofocus.

Competition is intensifying in the premium segment
