The Spartans scored even against the favourites, cooling off the home team with a fantastic free kick. Salzburg was slapped by Brest – Sport – Football – European Cups

The players of Sparta Prague also scored points in their second match of the LM league phase. The “Reds” in the starting line-up with Slovakian representative Lukáš Haraslín drew 1:1 at the VfB Stuttgart stadium on Tuesday and after two rounds they have four points, the home team won the first.

Stuttgart had an excellent start to the match and took the lead in the 7th minute. After a pass in their own half, the ball quickly moved to the left wing, from which Mittelstadt crossed and Millot opened the scoring with a header.

Sparta could have equalized after a quarter of an hour, but Vitík’s header hit the post. In the 30th minute, however, Birmančevič won a set piece from a promising position, Kairinen took the ball and curled it perfectly into the “gallows”.

Home goalkeeper Nübel reached for it with his fingertips, but was unable to dislodge it. Sparta could have turned around before halftime, but Birmančevič’s header was stopped by the crossbar.

After the change of sides, the home team pushed the Spartans, but they did not score the second goal. Goalkeeper Vindahl held the visitors with several excellent saves.

After two games, French Brest has the full number of points, having won 4:0 at the Salzburg stadium.

Sima scored two goals for the visitors, Camara and Pereira Lage added one each. The home team is without a point and with a score of 0:7 at the bottom of the interim table of the league phase.
