“The Summer House of the Stars” from RTL is now also taking part in the mockery of ex-Finance Minister Christian Lindner.
Since Christian Lindner was fired as finance minister by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) and the traffic light government collapsed, social networks have been flooded with memes, comments and other jokes. For example, the FDP politician was repeatedly labeled “Germany’s cheekiest unemployed person” (based on Arno Dübel) on social media channels.
On Thursday, the RTL reality format “The Summer House of the Stars” also jumped in, took part in the mockery and invited Lindner and his wife Franca Lehfeldt onto the show as a couple of candidates. “Christian Lindner and Franca Lehfeldt, the traffic light is always green for us,” posted the show’s official page on Facebook. The page was divided into this Photo of the summer house with Lindner and Lehfeldt in the foreground. There is a sign above it: “There is always a place available for you in the summer house”.
In the reality show (seen on RTL and RTL+) various prominent couples move into the eponymous summer house to let the sparks fly under permanent video surveillance and fight for victory. “The Summer House of the Stars” is currently in its ninth season with candidates such as Sam Dylan and Raúl Richter.
