The incident has been due to a communication failure between the system controls and train battery chargers. Talgo insists that they are working “together with Ingeteam, operator of the train battery charger, to resolve the incident and be able to restore service as soon as possible.”

Renfe has specified that it is relocating all travelers to other compositions “to guarantee their mobility” and has added that they are being informed of all changes that affect their trip.
