Granting the prosecution’s appeal, the court overturned the Bucharest court’s decision on July 5, favorable to the Tate brothers, which would have allowed them to leave Romania with a judge’s permission if they wanted to go to another EU country.

According to the indictment, 37-year-old Andrew Tate and his younger brother, Tristan Tate, who has about 9 million followers on X, used the “loverboy” method, pretending to be in love, and ensnared young girls, who were then held captive in a house in Ilfov County, and used various methods to use pornography. they were forced to make videos, which they uploaded to the Internet, thereby making a significant financial profit.

The brother and sister and their two suspected accomplices of Romanian nationality were arrested on December 30, 2022 in the Voluntari suburb of Bucharest, and they were brought to court in Romania last June. The charges include the creation of a criminal organization, multiple counts of human trafficking, two counts of rape, unauthorized use of IT systems and modification of data, as well as assault and other acts of violence.

Influenza and his brother spent three months in pre-trial detention. They were placed under house arrest in March last year, which was lifted in August. Since then, they have been under official supervision and cannot leave Romania.

As we wrote about earlier, Adrew even posted a video on his X page about the news of his release. He wrote:

My judges decided that I can leave Romania, so we can go to Italy with the Ferrari SF90, the Maserati MC20 to Cannes or the Ferrari 812 to the Paris race. Where should I go?
