The Tate brothers win a new trial with the Romanian state. British millionaires get back their cars seized by DIICOT

In August 2024, over 15 of the Tate brothers’ luxury cars were impounded. These were seized in the file opened in 2015, in which DIICOT prosecutors state that they recruited 34 women who were allegedly forced to produce pornographic material that would later be broadcast for a fee on a profile platform.

The decision is final and was pronounced on October 1, 2024. The court decided that the luxury cars seized by DIICOT, following the searches carried out on August 21, 2024, should be returned. Among the seized vehicles are two McLarens, four Ferraris, a Maybach, a Maserati and a Lamborghini Huracan.

Under the ruling, the Tate brothers will take back all the cars within the next 24 hours, without any restrictions. The lawyer Eugen Vidineac welcomed the decision, describing it as “legal and thorough”. He emphasized that “the decision could not have been different, given the details of the file.”

The court ruling comes after several legal actions and intense debates in the case of British millionaires, who challenged measures to confiscate their luxury assets.

Statements by Andrew Tate

In September, the Tate brothers were arrested again, for 24 hours, and detained in the Capital Police Central Detention Center. Shortly after learning of the authorities’ decision, Andrew Tate made his first statements.

“This case is even more stupid than the first one. Wait till you see. I’m saying I loved the mother of my children and even tricked her into having children. Unbelievable. I have three children and they were victimized so let’s not see our kids, that’s what they did. Remember the first time the media asked where the evidence was? This is your chance to do it again.”Andrew Tate said last month when he was arrested, notes spynews.ro.
