The site reports this “Moscow 24” with reference to the press service of the Department of Transport.
As the department noted, the decision to change the traffic pattern on the overpass to two-way was made for the first time.
It is expected that the new two-way traffic will relieve the congestion at the Teply Stan metro station and make it more convenient to travel to the Generala Tyuleneva metro station from Yasenev and from Kaluzhskoye Shosse.
“Re-marking allows us to improve traffic in the capital. By changing the direction of movement and the number of lanes, we distribute traffic evenly and safely,” said Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov.
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region said that in 2028 a new highway between Khimki and Dolgoprudny would be built in the region.
