“The threat of suicide is part of a classic vocabulary in psychiatry, it is not per se or in the true sense of the word a threat, sometimes it can be a form of emotional blackmail. It is very important when a child discusses death or the intention of to harm themselves, the parent should take into account what the child says”, say Gabriel Diaconu – psychiatrist.

A double suicide terrified the community of Uricani, Hunedoara in 2023. Two 15-year-old friends died at the same time, in an abandoned factory. The night before, one of the girls called 112 to report a scandal in the family, according to the report observatornews.ro.
