Eintracht Frankfurt could soon bag its next transfer. According to consistent reports, Danish European Championship rider Rasmus Kristensen is high on SGE’s list. And it looks like the defender is keen to join the Bundesliga club.
In their search for reinforcements for the upcoming Bundesliga season, Eintracht Frankfurt seems to have their sights set on Rasmus Kristensen. The Dane has been intensively linked with the Hessian team for a few days now.
After transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported on X (formerly Twitter) about Frankfurt’s interest in the European Championship participant, who, however, did not play in the Danish team at the tournament in Germany, “Sky” is now following up with much hotter information.
As reporter Florian Plettenberg writes on X, those responsible at Eintracht are now in concrete and direct talks with Leeds United, where Kristensen is still tied until 2027. According to the report, a verbal agreement has almost been reached, and the final details are currently being clarified.
A permanent contract is being discussed as a transfer model, but a loan with an option to buy is also being discussed. How much Kristensen would cost SGE has not been disclosed. However, his market value is estimated at around ten million euros.
Eintracht Frankfurt: Kristensen can well imagine a change
The good news from SGE’s point of view: The defender, who is primarily at home on the right side but can also play in the middle of defence, is said to be able to imagine an immediate move to Frankfurt. Accordingly, negotiations with the player himself should not be too difficult.
The Dane, who has been part of Leeds United since summer 2022, was on loan to AS Roma last season. There, the 27-year-old veteran played in 29 Serie A games, scored one goal and set up two goals. Kristensen, meanwhile, gained international experience in the past with RB Salzburg in the Europa League and the Champions League.
If Eintracht Frankfurt reach an agreement with Leeds United, Kristensen would be the next big summer transfer after Can Uzun, Oscar Höjlund and Krisztián Lisztes.
