Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ended his two-day visit to Serbia tonight. His host, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, saw him off from Belgrade’s “Nikola Tesla” airport.

Today, Serbia and Turkey signed 11 agreements and memoranda on mutual cooperation in the presence of President Vučić and Erdogan.

In a joint address to the media, the presidents of Serbia and Turkey said that peace in the Balkans is of great importance.

Vučić pointed out that the essence of all talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is to preserve peace and stability in the region, because economic cooperation is only possible then.

The President of Turkey pointed out that the relations between the two countries are such that one can speak of their “golden age”.
