The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was outraged by Jared Leto’s words about St. Petersburg and Moscow

In Kyiv, they were outraged by the words of Thirty Seconds to Mars leader Jared Leto about plans to give concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and then in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Ukrainian state, such a statement is unacceptable in the current realities.

The corresponding position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appeared in the official account of the department on the social network X (Twitter, blocked in Russia). It states that Leto insulted those who “sacrifice their lives to defend freedom.” In Kyiv they are sure that Russia cannot be a venue for concerts in such times.

Let us remember that Leto earlier said at a concert in Belgrade that he would like to perform in the Russian Federation when “the problems are over.” According to the musician, the band misses their Russian fans.
