The Ukrainians have stalled in Kursk. And has difficulty keeping the positions in the east

Dbad news for Ukraine is that the country’s soldiers are pressed in the east – at Pokrovsk and especially at Vuhledar – and that their offensive into the Russian Kursk region appears to have stalled.

The good news, as seen from Kyiv, is that the Russians appear to be having difficulty cobbling together a proper and unified defense of the Kursk region. The exiled Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta writesthat Moscow has, among other things, put special units from the security service FSB into the attempts to push the Ukrainian forces in Kursk back across the border.
