LG Electronics recently launched the UltraGear OLED GX7 gaming monitor (model 27GX790A) aimed at video game enthusiasts.
With a 27-inch screen and a QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), this monitor promises to redefine the gaming experience through a 480Hz refresh rate and a response time of just 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray (GTG).
Design compact
The model stands out for its compact design and four almost invisible edges, which will amplify the feeling of immersion in games.
The ergonomic, slim and L-shaped stand allows the angle of rotation to be adjusted between -30 and 30 degrees, providing not only an easily customizable positioning, but also a cleaner and more organized setup.
The integrated WOLED technology is a major attraction. By using an OLED white illumination layer combined with color filters, the monitor delivers vibrant colors, strong contrasts and deep blacks.
It is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and has achieved VESA’s highest ClearMR level.
Extended compatibility
The company says the UltraGear GX7 is ready to keep up with cutting-edge technology, featuring HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports that offer 67% more bandwidth than previous versions.
Thus, the monitor is ideal for next-generation consoles, high-performance PCs and future graphics cards expected in 2025.
In addition to graphics performance, the monitor supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies, minimizing tearing and flickering issues for a smoother gaming experience.
In addition, the Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) layer improves visibility in bright environments so that the details on the screen remain clear in all conditions.
Three-dimensional sound
For a top audio experience, the monitor comes with a four-pole headphone jack compatible with DTS Headphone:X technology.
This provides accurate three-dimensional sound, essential for locating opponents in FPS or battle royale games.
LG UltraGear GX7 is currently available only in the United States of the company at a price of 999.99 dollars (the equivalent of 947 euros).
