The US Embassy in Kyiv reported receiving specific information about a possible serious air attack on Ukraine today.
The embassy urged US citizens in Ukraine to prepare for operational measures in the event of an air alert. The American Embassy will be closed today as a precaution. “As a precaution, the embassy will be closed, and embassy employees have been instructed to evacuate,” it is written in a statement published on the website of the American Embassy in Kyiv. Already at night and also in the morning, air danger alarms sounded several times in Kyiv. The reason was drone attacks.

The violent Russian attack was said to be a response to the atacms rockets launched by the Ukrainians on Tuesday night – precisely on the 1000th day of the war in Ukraine – launched deeper into Russian territory. The US has previously allowed Ukraine to attack targets deep inside Russia with US-made weapons.
New Ukrainian drone attacks are also being reported from Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the air defense shot down 50 Ukrainian drones during the night.
