Did you buy a Varmfront portable charger from Ikea? Better not to use it as it poses a fire safety risk.

IKEA is calling on all customers who have a VARMFRONT Portable Charger 10 400 mAh (model number E2038) with a date stamp (LLTT) 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319 or a VARMFRONT Portable Charger 5 200 mAh (model number E2037) with a date stamp (LLTT) 2318, 2319 or 2322 to stop using it immediately and contact IKEA and request a replacement product or a full refund.

Some VARMFRONT portable chargers pose a fire safety risk due to a manufacturing defect. This error only applies to units with the aforementioned date stamps. Therefore, these VARMFRONT portable chargers are recalled. Customers who have such a product should stop using it immediately and contact IKEA for a replacement product or a full refund.

This recall does not apply to VARMFRONT chargers with other date stamps.

Customers can return VARMFRONT portable chargers with the mentioned date stamps to any IKEA store and request a replacement product or a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
