It was on Wednesday that Sweden’s Master Chef 2025 premiered – and this year with a new jury member in the form of Tina Nordström.
Tina, or Mat-Tina as she is also called, has appeared in several different television programs for over 25 years and is today a popular chef and television profile. There are also few Swedes out there who do not own or have given away a cookbook of the popular profile.
For those who remember, it was Tina who coined the cheeky “delicious” which spread like wildfire across our elongated country.
Together with the chefs Tommy Myllymäki and Tom Sjöstedt will she, during the course of the season, judge the amateur chefs who will sweat among the pans. And the season has gotten off to a rough start, to say the least.
Tina has proven to be stricter than expected and spares no expense when she tells the applicants that their parade dishes were not up to par.
“It tastes like a school cafeteria,” she said, among other things.
But someone who did well and already made an impression on the viewers at home on the TV sofas is none other than the falu sausage lover Magnus Grönvall who offered the dish “Strogge la di da”.
At first the jury was very skeptical, but when they tasted it, it was a resounding yes from everyone.
In an interview with News24 Magnus told me that his law was self-composed and that he practiced before his application.
– The recipe is completely self-composed, cooked the same dish for two weeks straight to set it.
Tina then also took the opportunity to make a dirty joke, as Magnus was serving falu sausage.
– Do you have another sausage on your body, she said at the same time as Tom, Tommy and Magnus burst into laughter.
And the reactions from the viewers – they were mixed but with a high majority on…
…those who believe that Tina both adds humor and acts as a “fresh breath” in the program.
And we can’t help but agree.
