The wave of closures in the textile and clothing industry has not yet ended, and many companies in the sector may cease operations in Estonia in early spring, said Kristiina Tikerpää, CEO of A La Carte Uniforms.

“I talked to some manufacturers, and they took a wait-and-see approach. They have been saying for several seasons in a row that they will probably have to close soon,” she noted, adding that sometimes orders appear and companies decide to continue operating, but this is not easy.
