According to what we learned, on the late afternoon of January 1st in Corso Maroncelli, on the southern outskirts of the city, a 72-year-old man he stabbed a neighbora 63-year-old woman, because of her dog, which according to the man was barking too much.

The 72-year-old, exasperated by the constant noises caused by the animal, would have taken to the street already armed to confront his neighbor and a friend who was with her. A violent argument would have arisen, during which the man would have lost control, hitting the woman with several blows to the neck and abdomenusing a kitchen knife.
The arrival of help in Turin
Following the attack, the victim would collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. The men of the State Police flying squad immediately rushed to the scene, alerted by the residents, and the 118 medical staff.
The health team found the woman in very serious conditions. The 63-year-old was urgently transported to the CTO hospital in Turin, where she remained underwent a delicate surgical operation and is still hospitalized in intensive care, in critical but stable conditions.

The murder weapon has been seized, while investigators are collecting testimonies and analyzing images from surveillance cameras in the area to precisely reconstruct the dynamics of the attack.
