Have you ever dreamed of being transported to the world of your favorite series? This is not always possible, and sometimes we can only count on models or attractions prepared with tourists in mind. In the case of the series “Yellowstone” the matter is much simpler. It turns out that the ranch belongs to As Johna Dutto it exists and allows guests to stay overnight. For the right price, of course.
The history of this place dates back to 1914, when the ranch was purchased by tycoon William Ford and Judge Howard Hollister (source: dziennikujemy.pl). They are responsible for the construction of the main building, which today we can associate with TV screens and the popular series produced by Paramount.
Since the ranch is actually a filming location for some scenes in the series, it is not always open to visitors. In this case, the inability to book accommodation results not only from its great popularity among travelers, but also from the need for the film crew to carry out the work. The ranch’s website already states that reservations for 2024 and 2025 are not accepted.
If you manage to find a convenient and available date, there is a problem – you won’t be able to rent a place to stay for one night. Per property policy, we only accept reservations for at least 3 nights. So sleeping quickly and taking a few photos is out of the question. And how much do you have to pay for it?
As you can easily guess, the price for such an attraction is not low. On the Chief Joseph Ranch website, we can find two accommodation options. The first one is Lee Dutton’s Cabin (The Fisherman Cabin). The description states that this cabin is located approximately 50 feet from the main property and offers views of the river and mountains. It is almost 100 years old, because it was built in 1916.
Fortunately, inside we will find full modern amenities, such as a functional kitchen. The cottage consists of three levels – the main floor, the first floor separated from the attic by a door, and the attic itself, which is also functional. This place sleeps a maximum of 8 people and the price for 4 people is $1,400 per night. Each additional person will add another $50 to the cost. This means that if we want to book accommodation for a group of 8 people and stay 3 nights, we will have to pay USD 4,800, i.e. almost PLN 20,000.
The second option for accommodation at the ranch from the “Yellowstone” series is Rip’s Cabin (The Ben Cook Cabin). In this case, the two-story house (including the attic) can also accommodate up to 8 people, but it is definitely more atmospheric. See for yourself:
Price for 4 people is $1,700, additional person is $50 per night. This time it is clearly more expensive, because 3 nights for 8 people is 5,700 dollars, i.e. over PLN 23,000.
If the price puts you off, it’s no wonder. Accommodation at the ranch is certainly not the cheapest. Fortunately, you will soon be able to visit them in front of the TV. It will take place on November 14 in Poland premiere of the second part of season 5 of the series “Yellowstone”. This is definitely the cheapest way to see Montana and follow the fate of the characters.
