The youngest conqueror of the world’s peaks wants to inspire

Nima Rindzhi – an 18-year-old young mountaineering enthusiast from Nepal – is the first young person of this age in history to reach the 14 highest peaks in the world, and he did it in 720 days. He also holds the record as the youngest mountaineer to reach the summit of Everest in 10 hours. He told the BBC that he comes from an ethnic group in Nepal that traditionally work as mountain guides, and wanted to prove to his peers that he can be more than just a guide and can inspire people to pursue adventure, achievement and creativity. The previous record holder was Nima’s compatriot Mingma Gijabu in 2019, who was 30 years old at the time.
