In developing “Light”, Honda will try to create a sporty driving feeling and realize the best and leading electrical efficiency in the automotive world, which has always been Honda’s commitment in making its cars. Meanwhile, the power unit will be made with a more “wise” and efficient concept with a range of 300 miles in EPA mode.
In addition, the use of a thin battery, compact e-Axle, low-floor technology enables a low center of gravity and improves sporty driving behavior, motor and inverter technology from hybrid vehicles (e:HEV) is used to create a more efficient and compact e-Axle. In addition, the IPU (battery) casing is made thinner through mega casting technology and 3D Friction Stir Welding (FSW). Honda seeks to limit battery capacity degradation to less than 10% after 10 years of use.

Honda will also simplify the operation of the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system and improve support with a personalized voice assistant.
