It is noted that the volume has reached a record low over the past 13 years. Thus, according to the results of the third quarter, 2.4 thousand apartments with an area of 165.3 thousand m2 were available to buyers, although in the second quarter there were more offers, and a year earlier – by 32%.
According to experts quoted by the media, the decline in development activity was caused by an increase in the key rate and an increase in interest rates on project financing.
In total, from January to September, 1.9 thousand lots of business class housing were sold on the primary market of St. Petersburg, which is 8% less than last year. At the same time, in the first half of the year, St. Petersburg business-class apartments rose in price by 9%. The price per square meter at the end of September was 417 thousand rubles.
