There are so many copies of the first Porsche 911 Turbo left in the Netherlands

The first 911 Turbo delivered 260 hp thanks to the turbo that was mounted on the 3.0 six-cylinder boxer. The top speed of 250 km/h was unprecedentedly fast and the first buyers were eager to drive such a fast car when they saw the 911 Turbo in 1974. This was possible from 1975. We see that five copies from that year were provided with a Dutch license plate. The fastest 911 with code name 930 already improved in 1978: the 3.0 liter became a 3.3 liter and the power increased to 300 hp. That made it all go even faster! The early drivers had their hands full with the widowmaker, the name that the early 911 Turbo quickly got. The fact that there are still 230 copies on Dutch license plates is quite a lot! The master number crunchers at Vinacles have investigated for us how many of these Porsches are still in our country. They did this until the arrival of the 964 Turbo, which took over from the 930 in 1990. And we are certainly not disappointed.
