There may be problems with the iPhone 16 Pro display –

More and more users indicate that the iPhone 16 Pro does not respond to touches as it should.

Apple already has some experience in the field of smartphones, but bizarre anomalies occur from time to time. Now there are reports regarding the iPhone 16 Pro, which allegedly does not accept touches as it should, but this does not seem to be a hardware problem, but an easily fixable software problem.

iOS is able to filter out accidental touches, but in the case of the Pro model, this has apparently become too sensitive, it does not even take into account intentional touches and swipes. Some users may accidentally touch the device at two points while holding it (and it does not have a case) due to the too thin frame, and the system does not ignore the ones that should.

We haven’t experienced such a problem on the iPhone 16 Pro that we have for testing, but a user of Mastodon has basically figured out how the error can be guaranteed to occur.

Whether it’s a hardware, design, or software problem will hopefully become clear soon – we hope it’s the latter, and it will be fixed with a quick update.
