The incident comes months before the Nov. 5 election, in which Trump will face Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. The White House announced in a statement that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were informed about the incident. “They were relieved to learn that he was safe,” the statement said.

This incident reminds him the July assassination attempt in Pennsylvaniawhen Trump was grazed by a gunshot near his right ear. During the incident at that time, a participant in the rally lost his life, and the gunman was shot by a sniper of the secret service.
