There were many candidates, but Suzana is the right choice

Bojana Popović left after failing to qualify for the Olympic Games, a few months later she was succeeded by Suzana Lazović – her teammate from the glory days of Montenegro and Budućnost.

After Nikola Petrović, Dragan Adžić, Per Johanson, Kim Rasmusen and Bojana, the Montenegrin Handball Association decided to place its trust in a girl who is at the beginning of her coaching career, but who shows a lot of promise…

That’s why the words of the president of the RSCG, Petar Kapisoda, that he and the Board of Directors, in addition to many names, have decided on the former pivot woman “lioness” are not surprising.

“I have to say that a large number of candidates for the position of selector appeared, and after a certain time I narrowed it down to a few names with whom I had serious discussions. In the end, I decided that my proposal to the Board of Directors should be Suzana, and I have no doubts at all that we made the right choice,” said Kapisoda.

He emphasized that the Board of Directors unanimously accepted his proposal, and he spoke to the new selector in chosen words…

“This is a person who is hard-working, ambitious and, in my opinion, knows this job, and I have no doubt that she will be successful,” added the former member of the Montenegrin national team.

He also had a message for the former selector.

“Thank you to Bojana and her professional staff for the cooperation and relationship during the previous three years, which were crowned with a bronze medal from the last European Championship,” concluded Kapisoda.
