There’s a New Chinese Electric SUV, the Voyah Free

Il Dongfeng Group is among the main Chinese car manufacturers and is entering Europe with a very varied range, including electric cars, SUVs and soon also mid-range thermal and hybrid vehicles. In Italy it is ready to land in the fall with 7 models, including the Voyah Free.

Voyah is the Dongfeng group brand specializing in premium electric vehicles launched in 2020 and in our country it makes itself known for the first time as Automotive Sponsor of the Macerata Opera Festival 2024. During the event, scheduled from July 19th to August 11th, some Voyah Free models customized with the logo of the musical event will be at the service of the staff and will thus get closer to Italian motorists.

The Voyah Free is an SUV 4.9 meters long1.9 m wide and 1.6 m high, with a wheelbase of 2.9. The rear compartment has a load capacity of 560 litres which can be increased to 1,320 litres by folding down the rear seat backrests.

There is no further information at the moment, but we know that the Voyah Free is equipped with a electric motor which reaches a total power of 489 HP, four-wheel drive and hydraulic suspension. Despite the mass of 2,340 kg, the sprint time from standstill to 100 km/h is 4.4 seconds. The battery, however, offers a declared autonomy up to 600 km (WLTP).
