Camera control – the button that is more than a button
One of the most exciting innovations for each new device is the Camera Control, which for the sake of simplicity can be called a button, but is actually a smaller touch surface on the side of the devices. With the help of this, we can open the photo application lightning fast, control the zoom, adjust the depth of field, and also expose.
The camera system of the iPhone 16 has been updated, and although it usually consists of two cameras, we can take more spectacular pictures with it than with its predecessor. One is a 48-megapixel Fusion camera capable of 2x telephoto zoom, and the other is an ultra-wide-angle camera that can be used for both macro photos and large panoramas. After recording, you can also adjust the sounds, lower the background noise, and increase the volume of the actors’ speech. Photographic styles change images more thoroughly than previous filters. In the case of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, not only the primary camera, but also the ultra-wide one became 48 MP, enabling the production of much more detailed photos. You can use up to 5x optical zoom, and still get a sharp image.
Unparalleled power, long operating time
Apple has been paying a lot of attention to increasing battery capacity and life for a long time, and the new devices also last much longer than their predecessors. For example, the iPhone 16 can withstand 22 hours of continuous video playback, while the expected operating time for the Plus is 27 hours, just like the Pro, but the Pro Max can last for 33 hours. All of them can be charged with the MagSafe wireless charger, with a 25-watt charge, a 50% charge can be achieved in up to 30 minutes.
The A18 and A18 Pro chips, in addition to lightning-fast processing and execution of instructions using AI (from image and text generation to searches), also run games in high quality and ensure that the use of devices is as smooth as possible in everyday life.
The cover of the iPhone 16 is aluminum, which together with Ceramic Shield ensures the protection of the devices. The Pro models still have a titanium cover, but for safety phone cases purchase is still recommended.
The new iPhones will be available from September 20, but iOS 18, which also offers many new functions on previous devices, can be downloaded on September 16. Of course, users of previous years can also access most of the new features, but the new features of Apple Intelligence will require at least an iPhone 15 Pro.
