Motorola Android 15 update: this is what you need to know
Android 15 cannot yet be found on any device, but that will soon change. All kinds of manufacturers are already working behind the scenes to prepare the update for smartphones and other devices. The precise update policy is known for many devices, but you still have to wait for official information.
This round it is Motorola’s turn, because website Ytechb has figured out exactly how that works. Thanks to information on the American manufacturer’s official support pages, it is known exactly which devices can work with the new Android version.
The list above is certainly missing a number of well-known devices. For example, there is only one device from the Edge 40 series and the regular model and the Edge 40 Neo are not included. Devices from the Moto G line such as the Moto G54 or G84 cannot be found there either. Information about those smartphones is not yet available, but it is possible that they will appear on the list. We will of course update this article if more official information is known from the manufacturer itself.
It is also still unclear when Motorola will start rolling out Android 15 and in what order. It seems likely that the most recent high-end devices will be the first to go. Updates for devices in the Moto G series probably take the longest.
As mentioned, Android 15 cannot yet be used on any device, but will first roll out to Google’s own Google Pixel 9 devices. They were launched a little earlier than in recent years, but therefore still run on Android 14.
