Starting this week, Motorola users can get started with unique AI features. The beta program has started and here you can read what you can expect as a tester – and how to install the software.
Moto AI beta for Razr 50, 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Ultra
Motorola introduced Moto AI at the launch of Edge 50 line. The software consists of a number of AI features such as a magic eraser, AI wallpapers and images created by AI. Later this year, the Razr 50 and 50 Ultra folding phones were also announced with Moto AI on board. The manufacturer is now releasing new functions for the Razr’s and Edge 50 Ultra, although in ‘beta form’.
Motorola says it wants to tackle the daily difficulties of your smartphone with the new AI features. For example, there is a function called ‘Catch me up’ that updates you on all the notifications you have missed on your smartphone, in the form of a summary.
‘Pay attention’ is useful for users who wonder after conversations what was said. The feature works as a shortcut for recording conversations and transcribing them. This is useful for taking notes, for example during meetings or in the lecture hall.
With ‘Remember this’, Moto AI makes a smart to-do list for you. By adding important documents, such as your airline tickets or concert tickets, the AI learns what you need to prepare. This way you leave on time and you don’t forget your poncho. The documents are processed on the device, not on Motorola servers.
Anyone who has a Motorola Razr 50, Razr 50 Ultra or Edge 50 Ultra can now become a tester through the manufacturer’s beta program. Please note, because the Moto AI beta currently only works in English, Spanish and Portuguese. It is not yet known whether and when Dutch will be supported.
