DAPURPACUID – PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is claimed to have successfully recorded the highest sales of several of its flagship models throughout the first semester of 2024.
Honda WR-V and HR-V were able to contribute up to 46.4 percent to Honda’s sales in the January-June period, which recorded a figure of 23,986 units.
Throughout the first semester, Honda HR-V recorded sales of a total of 8,883 units and contributed 37 percent to national Medium SUV class sales.
Meanwhile, in June 2024, this compact SUV experienced an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous month, recording sales of 1,459 units.
Meanwhile, the Honda WR-V in the same period recorded sales figures of 7,088 units, or contributed 42 percent to national Small SUV class sales.
Meanwhile, other Honda SUV models, namely the BR-V N7X Edition, sold a total of 6,113 units and the All New CR-V recorded total sales of 1,902 units in the first semester of 2024.
Honda’s highest sales in the period from January to June this year were occupied by Brio with a total of 25,625 units, contributing to Honda’s sales by 49.5 percent. For other Honda products, a total of 2,070 units were recorded.
Sales & Marketing and After Sales Director of PT HPM, Yusak Billy admitted that sales of Honda SUV models contributed significantly in the first semester along with the favorite model, Honda Brio.
“Although in general the automotive market has not shown positive growth. We hope that entering the second semester the growth can return to positive supported by the motor show and various sales programs we present,”
A variety of attractive sales programs are presented again to make it easier for consumers to own a Honda car, starting from regular maintenance packages, light installments, and long tenors.
