Robert Thomas’s comedy “Eight Women” comes to Thessaloniki for two performances on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 July at the Garden Theater at 21:30.
The famous detective comedy by Robert Thomas “Eight Women” is traveling throughout Greece this summer to offer ample doses of laughter, mystery and twists, in a recital of performances by an untouchable female dream team: Yro Manet, Iota Festa, Tanya Trypi, Fotini Demiri, Eugenia Dimitropoulou, Ioanna Triantafyllidou, Eugenia Xygorou, Mariza Tsari.

The “Lykofos” cultural organization, after the great summer successes “Antigone” in 2022 (a ten-year attendance record at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus) and “Oedipus at Colonus” in 2023, proposes for the summer of 2024 the well-known and multi-awarded theatrical police comedy of the meter of the theatrical mystery of Robert Thomas that was recently transferred to the cinema by the great Francois Ozon.
The show is presented with the directorial signature of Christos Sugaris, director of the great hits “Court of Miracles: the Musical”, “Scrooge and ghosts and rock and roll” and “Troades”.

Case
Eight women are stranded in an isolated house on the occasion of a family reunion. Suddenly they are confronted with a murder – but also with their best kept secrets.
Gaby, wife of the tycoon Marcel, his two daughters, Suzon and Catherine, his sister-in-law, Augustine, his mother-in-law, Mamie, his uninvited and unwanted sister, Pierrette, the secretive housekeeper, Madame Chanel, and the beautiful maid, Louise .
They are all suspicious.
The host Marcel, the only man in the house, is brutally murdered in his room. As no one entered the house the night before, the suspicions of murder rest on them – and only them.
In the process of solving the case, secrets and lies are revealed about the women’s relationship with the murdered man, husband, father, brother, employer and son-in-law.
Was he finally the kind, mild-mannered family man who was unbearably oppressed by the women who surrounded his life, or the classic male exploiter, unfaithful and abuser of them?
