Trinity Rodman. Does the last name sound familiar? No wonder, because she is the daughter of Dennis Rodman, one of the most controversial basketball players in history. Trinity, 22, has now turned heads at the Paris Olympics.

The 22-year-old American soccer international scored the national team’s first goal in the opening match of the Olympic tournament, in which the USA won 3-0 over Zambia.
Almost every sports fan knows Dennis Rodman. Perhaps the best rebounding basketball player of all time, who has been called a bad man or a tattooed maniac, he won five NBA titles, two with the Detroit Pistons and three with the Chicago Bulls. In the second half of the 90s, he was even more popular in Chicago than the famous Michael Jordan.
Currently, however, Trinity Rodman, the daughter of the now 63-year-old former basketball player, is filling the media headlines. He is one of the biggest stars of the American national team, which successfully entered the Olympic tournament.
Trinity was not at all interested in basketball. She started playing football at the age of four and became a professional at eighteen. The Washington Spirit selected her as the No. 2 pick in the US Women’s NWSL draft.
In February 2022, she already made her debut in the national team and consolidated her position in the national team even before the biggest sports holiday of the year. In her 41st international match, she scored her first goal in the most valuable jersey against Zambia.
The USA team is one of the biggest contenders for an Olympic medal. After all, she is a four-time world champion, and out of nine championships, she did not finish on the podium only once. At the Olympics in Paris, her opponents in the group are the teams of Germany and Australia.
