Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior should have rejected a super offer from Saudi Arabia.

Sources close to the player told Reuters on Monday. The 24-year-old forward was approached by representatives of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) to inquire about his interest in moving to the Saudi Pro League (SPL).

They offer him a five-year contract with an income of 200 million euros per season plus bonuses, which is 13 times more than he currently has at Real Madrid. The package would also include a separate 10-year contract that would see him become an ambassador for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Vinicius Junior said at the end of last season that he was satisfied in the Spanish big club. According to local media, Real is willing to enter into negotiations with Al-Hilal, but did not provide an official statement.

During Tuesday, however, several Spanish media reported that Real Madrid and even Vinicius Junior himself are not considering leaving the white ballet.

The biggest Saudi Arabian transfer was made by the country’s most successful club Al-Hilal, which spent 90 million euros to buy forward Neymar from Paris St. Germain.
