The alleged camera specs of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim have surfaced and are quite impressive. Samsung uses the latest technology for this.

It looks like Samsung is dead serious about the latest addition to the S line. Previously, indications appeared about the possible presence of a Slim model in 2025. Now it seems almost certain, because the alleged camera specifications of the phone have also been leaked.
Sanju Choudhary explains the expected specifications on X. This shows that the S25 Slim will have a main camera with a resolution of 200 megapixels. Impressive, because we previously only saw such a high resolution on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, although the sensor size on the S25 Slim is smaller, which helps with the thinner housing.
In addition to the main camera, the Slim has a wide-angle and telephoto lens, both with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The telephoto lens magnifies up to 3.5 times, which is slightly more than on the Galaxy S24. The resolution is also higher. The telephoto lens on the S24 has a resolution of 10 megapixels. This brings the camera setup of the S25 Slim closer to that of the S24 Ultra than the normal S24s.
Special cameras for thinner housing
We usually see such an extensive set of cameras with these specifications on fairly thick smartphones. It is therefore striking that Samsung mounts the lenses on the Galaxy S25 Slim, which as unique selling point should have a thinner housing. Partly for this reason, sources expect Samsung to come up with another unique product: ALoP.
ALoP stands for Advanced Lens on Plastic and it ensures that Samsung can make the S25 Slim a lot thinner. The housing of the lenses and the connection of the camera module are extra compact due to the clever use of materials, without much loss of quality, which is largely solved with artificial intelligence.
These camera specifications make us curious about the S25 Slim. It is not known when the smartphone will be released. The regular S25 series will reportedly be announced in early January. It is still unclear whether the S25 Slim is also included or will only appear later.
