An iconic monster of pop culture, Cthulhu was discovered in the Gothic novel The Call of Cthulhu published in 1928. A book by HP Lovecraft in which the character Francis Thruston investigates a mysterious sect worshiping the monster. A universe that has inspired many works in various formats. Comics, movies, video games, board games, Cthulhu is now found everywhere, or almost. His fans number in the millions and are sometimes inspired by them to extend Lovecraft’s vision.
On the subreddit dedicated to Midjourney, many Internet users share their creations every day, more or less successful. This week, a certain dvdpap published the results of his idea, namely a Cthulhu aquarium. Creatures in the vein of Cthulhu in the form of moray eels, white sharks and other aquatic delights, an original idea with monstrous results.
Unfortunately for the most greedy, only 6 visuals were shared by the Internet user. If the demand is sufficient, dvdpap will eventually publish a second batch. But for now, we will have to make do with these few creatures. A sumptuous but monstrous spectacle, on which visitors, no doubt terrified, observe these titanic creatures. Of course, aquariums are much too small for such monsters. Despite everything, the idea is commendable.
